On July 10, the Orfeo Music Festival presents Romantic Fire and Virtuosity in the magnificent Kaisersaal of the Hofburg Brixen. This elegant evening brings together international festival artists for a program of brilliance, passion, and Romantic color, with highlights including Sarasate’s fiery Zapateado, Liszt-Bellini’s operatic Réminiscences de Norma, Beethoven’s dramatic String Trio in C minor, and the glowing lyricism of Tchaikovsky’s Serenade for Strings. Featuring American virtuoso pianist Scott Allan Cohen, distinguished South Tyrolean cellist Christian Bertoncello, and esteemed artists from Orfeo’s international faculty, the concert offers an evening of fire, elegance, and dazzling musical expression in one of Bressanone’s most splendid historic halls.
