The Reinhold Messner House at Monte Elmo brings together history, sustainability, art and culture.

Where cable cars once arrived, the Reinhold Messner House now opens up new perspectives. The former top station at Monte Elmo has been transformed into a centre for sustainability, environmental awareness, art and culture.
A place where past and future come together, where ideas grow and new perspectives emerge – inspired by Reinhold Messner’s life’s work and his vision of the relationship between people, nature and responsibility.
