On July 26 & 27, 2026, Speikboden in the Skiworld Ahrntal hosts a special day dedicated to via ferrata. Whether you're a local, a family, a holiday guest, or a mountain enthusiast – this day is all about nature, adventure, and community.
The via ferrata routes at Speikboden are easily accessible by cable car and range in difficulty from grade “A” to “C” – perfect for both first-timers and seasoned climbers!


Four routes, one goal: to inspire!
From the “Pirate” route for children and families to the more demanding “Speikboden” via ferrata – ideal conditions await all mountain lovers and those curious to try their first ferrata adventure.
On this day, the South Tyrolean mountains will be experienced in a truly unique and memorable way.


Workshops & Mountain Know-How


A varied workshop program will accompany the event:
Mountain first aid – what to do in case of emergency
Children on via ferrata – correct safety gear use & tips for parents
First steps for beginners – from theory to outdoor experience
Tips for advanced climbers – gripping techniques and more




In addition, various outdoor brands will be present at the top station (2,000 m) with info stands, product innovations, and opportunities to test gear. From there, all four via ferrata routes can be easily reached on foot.
