The Fifth Season: Törggelen & Wine Tasting

Brixen/Bressanone, Brixen/Bressanone and environs

Excursion to traditional taverns around Brixen with stop for refreshments and wine tasting

from center
The “Törggele” season begins at the beginning of October and ends with Advent. On our hike we visit the Griesser Hof winery north of Brixen, in Vahrn. We taste three white wines (included) and get to know winemaker Paul, who grows and presses the grapes for his wine himself. The hike takes us to another farm inn above Brixen, where the hosts serve us typical Törggelen dishes. We recommend a glass of white wine from Eisacktal valley (meal and drinks not included). Duration: ~3 h | 10 km | ↑ 250 m | easy IMPORTANT: all guides are German and Italian speaking

    Meeting point: Tourist office at Regensburg Avenue 9. Together we go by public transportation to Varna.

    Hiking shoes and clothing, sunscreen. It will be held in all weather conditions. Clients who do not have a BrixenCard must purchase a ticket in advance to use public transportation.
    Brixen Tourism can cancel a tour until 4 pm the day before the tour. If this happens, participants will be refunded in full. If the participant cancels their registration for the tour after 4 pm, the costs of this are borne in full by the participant. If the participant does not attend an event they have booked, they cannot transfer to another event or claim a refund. Participants can rebook activities they have already booked until 2 pm the day before the event they have booked.
