Snowshoe hike Wildbad/Bagni di San Candido - Rif. Gigante Baranci

Walk through San Candido to the starting point of the snowshoe hike (Parkhotel Sole Paradiso). First through the (hopefully) snowy spruce forest to Bagni di San Candido. Then a comfortable one and a half to two hour walk to the Rifugio Gigante Baranci (refreshment stop approx. 1 hour). Descent of your choice. You can opt to take the cable car. Otherwise, the walk back to San Candido via a different route takes one hour. Cost of descent via chair lift: 19.50 Euro per person Starting point: 09:30 am Tourist Information San Candido Return: approx. 2:30 pm Walking time: approx. 2 hrs Difficulty: intermediate Altitude differential: approx. 300 m Kit: technical, ankle-covering mountain boots (no winter boots), hot drink (thermos flask), thermal protection, gloves and spare hat, sun protection Fee: 23 € per person, 5 € snow shoe rental IMPORTANT: The hikes will take place in all events, even where there is a lack of snow. In the event of a grave risk of avalanche or other adverse conditions, programme changes may occur. There is no minimum number of participants. The minimum age for children is 10 years with a shoe size of at least 35 (there are no snowshoes for smaller sizes). Dogs are not permitted at ANY tour.
