Outcry, or the Two-Person Play

Felice and Clare, siblings and passionate theater artists, are facing ruin: broke, exhausted, and suddenly completely alone. Their theater troupe has abandoned them, the stage is half-finished, and the

trip home is unaffordable. All they have left is their “two-person play”—

a last lifeline in a world slipping away from them. So they keep performing.

Not out of conviction, but out of necessity, out of fear, out of habit, and out of the desperate hope that the play will carry them through.

But the deeper they immerse themselves in their play, the more the boundaries between role and reality blur. Memories resurface, and old wounds reopen.

The theater becomes a mirror of their inner struggles—

and a labyrinth from which there is no easy escape.
