Caldaro Hike: Via the High Trail to Gummererhof. Enjoy beech forests, panoramic vineyard views, and the Nature Discovery Trail.
Hike in the Oltradige: From Caldaro to Gummererhof and back to Castelvecchio
We travel by coach through the Adige Valley to the Caldaro (Kaltern) sports zone (550 m). Our hike leads through a magnificent beech forest toward Castelvecchio (Altenburg). After a short ascent, we reach the Caldaro High Trail, which we follow to the Gummererhof inn (750 m). Beautiful mixed forests and stunning views of the rolling vineyards and the picturesque wine villages accompany us throughout the journey. After a relaxing break and refreshments at the Gummererhof, we descend toward Söll, following the Nature Discovery Trail and the Panoramic Trail to reach Castelvecchio, where our coach will be waiting.
