Circular hike from the Oberglaneggalm hut to Seebersee lake and back via the Seeberalm hut
Would you like to join a varied hike and experience the secrets of nature up close? Then come along on our guided tour through the picturesque Seebertal Valley – a true jewel of the Texel Group Nature Park.
The guided hike starts at the Oberglaneggalm parking area and leads through an impressive high alpine landscape to Seebersee lake. Surrounded by mighty peaks such as the Hochfirst (3,403 m) and the Granatkogel (3,302 m), the scenery is truly breathtaking. Reeds are reflected in the green-blue water, fish swim beneath the surface, and with a bit of luck you may spot marmots. Their characteristic whistles can almost always be heard. Perhaps one of the rare alpine butterflies will also cross your path – keep your eyes open! The return route leads via the Seeberalm hut back to the starting point.
