Easy walk in St. Jakob with Christine Pernthaler Gamberoni, certified nature and landscape guide.

Join herbal expert Christine Pernthaler Gamberoni on a leisurely walk around St. Jakob. Under the theme “Of the magical elder and Good King Henry,” you’ll discover ancient customs and rituals connected to springtime and midsummer herbs. Together, you will gather local herbs, burn them as incense and immerse yourselves in a world of fragrances and magic. You’ll learn how long-forgotten knowledge can be easily integrated into our modern everyday lives.
At the end, you will create your own personal herbal incense blend - a fragrant keepsake to take home.

Meeting point: Church of St. Jakob - parking possibilities at Unterpiskoihof

    Church St. Jakob - parking possibilities at Unterpiskoihof
    Public transport:
    By bus from Klausen/Chiusa or Brixen/Bressanone through Villnöss/Funes valley to St. Peter (bus stop St. Peter Dorf). Online timetable search at www.suedtirolmobil.info/en/
    From there in about 40 minutes walking to St. Jakob to the church.

    By car:
    Through the Eisacktal/Valle Isarco valley to Klausen/Chiusa turn into Villnöss/Funes valley and drive to St. Peter. From there follow the indications to St. Jakob. Parking is available at Unterpiskoihof.
    within the day before 4.00 pm at the Tourist Information Office or online
    In case of cancellation, a return of the participation fee is possible only if the cancellation is made before 12 noon of the previous day. If the cancellation is made by the participant after 12.00 noon, the costs are charged 100% to the participant. In case of no show no other offer can be made use of and no money will be refunded.
    In case of cancellation by the organiser, 100% of the amount paid will be refunded (for example if the minimum number of participants is not reached).
    The event must be paid in advance online or in one of the tourist offices.
    *The tasting is an integral part of the tour and must in any case be paid for separately on site by each participant in addition to the participation fee.
