South Tyrol CleanUP Days: the tourism association of Lana and surroundings invites everyone to take action for a cleaner region
From 17 to 20 September 2026, the Lana Region will take part in the South Tyrol CleanUP Days for the third time, helping to collect litter in nature.
What are the CleanUP Days?
It's simple: over these four days, we collect litter along hiking trails, in forests, villages, on promenades, and in many other natural and urban areas. Together, we are setting an example for a cleaner and more environmentally conscious Lana Region.
The initiative, organised in cooperation with the Swiss environmental organisation Summit Foundation, is open to everyone who wants to contribute to protecting nature – whether individually or in groups, as local residents or visitors.
PLAN.
Whether you're on your own, with friends, colleagues or family, choose a day between 17 and 20 September and decide which route you'd like to clean up. You can also join one of the organised CleanUP Tours, accompanied by local associations from the Lana Region.
GET EQUIPPED.
During the CleanUP Days, you can collect your free CleanUP Kit from one of our distribution points. The kit includes recycling bags made from recycled material and a stainless-steel litter picker. You'll find an overview of all collection points below.
GET STARTED.
Head out, collect litter, enjoy nature, have fun together and experience the rewarding feeling of making a positive difference.
DISPOSE.
After your tour, empty your litter bag into one of the designated collection containers. Your CleanUP Kit is meant to be kept and reused, so please do not dispose of it. We will take care of the proper disposal of the collected waste. All disposal points are listed below.
REPEAT.
You can continue doing something good for nature even after the South Tyrol CleanUP Days. Take your CleanUP Kit with you on your next hike and keep making a difference!
