The Opus Ballet company translates Antonio Vivaldi’s musical score for *The Four Seasons* into dance.

Like a timeless narrative fresco, *The Four Seasons* unfolds before our senses in a visual and auditory journey that traverses the cycles of nature and human life. Vivaldi, a composer and connoisseur of musical instruments, conceived this famous score as a musical narrative, a wordless script in which nature finds its voice through sound. The choreographer Aurélie Mounier translates this vision into dance, giving form and substance to inner landscapes and natural phenomena: the seasons become symbols of the flow of existence, of the deep breath of the earth and of humankind, which coexists with it, struggles against it and adapts to it. Opus Ballet’s *The Four Seasons* is a poetic reflection on the passage of time and its transformative power, on the fragility of natural balances and on the urgency of listening to that ancient rhythm that connects us to the world. In this harmony between body and music, humankind is part of the whole, rooted in nature like a tree in the earth: subject, spectator and guardian of an order that it can create, but also destroy. A work that invites us to pause, listen and dance together to the secret beat of the seasons.

Everything you need to know
We suggest using public transportation. From Merano railway station take the citybus lines no. 1 or no. 4 to the ‘Piazza Teatro’ bus stop. The theatre is situated at the Piazza Teatro in the city centre.
There are reserved parking spaces for people with disabilities in the Therme car park.
You will find bicycle parking spaces along Corso Libertà, near the theatre. Take care not to park bicycles and e-scooters carelessly. They can pose a danger to blind and visually impaired people as they create obstacles to safely walking along paths and finding entrances. People in wheelchairs and parents with pushchairs can also be hindered by carelessly parked bicycles. Please use the bicycle parking spaces provided.
