Guided hike from Vernuer/Vernurio along the Merano High Mountain Trail into the Kuensertal Valley, continuing along the Kuenser Waalweg back to Riffian/Rifiano

Then join our hiking guide Heinrich – along a section of the Merano High Mountain Trail! After a short bus ride, our tour begins in Vernuer/Vernurio. From there, we head down the valley along the Merano High Mountain Trail – one of the region's most famous hiking routes. Along the way, we'll enjoy magnificent views of the Etschtal Valley and a diverse natural landscape. In the Kuensertal Valley, the trail continues along the Kuenser Waalweg. This peaceful and pleasant path winds through shady forest sections, accompanied by the gentle trickling of water – perfect for taking a deep breath and relaxing. Our return journey takes us back to Rifiano.
Walking time: approx. 3,5 h | Difference in altitude: approx. 180 m ascent and 890 m descent
The hike will be in German and Italian.
Accessible by public transport (bus line 239, 240 or 241) - bus stop "Riffian, Dorf/Rifiano, paese".
Parking facilities on site.
Important note:
This hike is not a circular tour. Transfer to the starting point is by public bus. The hike starts in Vernuer/Vernurio and ends in Riffian/Rifiano.
The cancellation of the booked service can be made until 3 p.m. the day before. In this case the participant will be refunded 100% of the costs. Alternatively, a rebooking for a service of equal value or for a service of greater value can be made until 3 p.m. of the day before. If the amount of the alternative service is less than the price paid, no difference will be paid. In case of cancellation or deregistration after 3 p.m. of the previous day, as well as in case of non-appearance on the defined date of the offer, no refund will be made and the costs will be borne 100% by the participant:in. If the service is canceled by the organizer, the participant:in will be refunded 100% of the costs.
The programme is subject to change. Animals are allowed.
Note: The cost of the public bus is not included in the participation fee.
