Via ferrata Piz da Peres

The wind, the bare rock and a panorama that only a few can claim to have seen. Nothing else can distract you from one of the most adrenaline-pumping and spectacular hikes in our area. The reward for challenging your limits? The 360-degree view from the summit of Piz da Peres, with the view stretching from the peaks of the Ahrntal valley to the glaciers of Austria.
The hike is also suitable for beginners; only the easy section of the via ferrata is tackled. Should the guide judge the group to be sufficiently experienced, the entire via ferrata can be hiked. Excursion not recommended for those suffering from vertigo.
Attention: minimum age 16 years.

In the event of bad weather, an alternative programme is offered.

Booking online or at the Tourist Office. The cost includes continuous accompaniment by a mountain guide. Harness, safety harness and helmet can be hired for €15.

    Everything you need to know

    San Vigilio Tourist Office
    Coming from Longega, enter the village of San Vigilio and turn left. After 200 metres you will reach the San Vigilio tourist office. Parking is possible in the garage at the Stadio bar (for a fee).
    At the San Vigilio/San Martino Tourist Offices or online by 5 p.m. of the day before
    Good shoes and mountain appropriate clothing.
    Bottle of water and packed lunch.
    Reservations may be canceled up to 24 hours before the start of the event. Subsequent cancellations will not be refunded, except where the event must be canceled due to bad weather.
