High alpine e-MTB adventure over the Pfunderer Joch with spectacular views, challenging trails, and an epic descent down to Brixen.
The Pfunderer Joch is one of the most impressive mountain bike passes in the Alps. Fit bikers can expect a demanding tour with high-alpine panoramas, steep climbs and challenging single trail descents.
The shuttle takes you to Wiesen near Sterzing. From there, the climb leads along gravel roads to the Pfunderer mountain huts at around 1,900 metres and continues up to the Pfunderer Joch at around 2,500 metres. Some sections may require pushing the bike. At the top, the views of Hochfeiler, Grabspitze and Felbe make the effort worthwhile. The descent offers flowing but demanding single trails and requires confident riding technique. Via forest roads and paved roads, the route leads to Vintl and then back to Brixen along the valley cycle path.
