GIANLUCA IOCOLANO & CHRISTA PLANK (BZ): „ROBE DA MANDER"

The Carambolage Theatre in Bolzano presents "Robe da Mander", a bilingual cabaret and music show by and with Gianluca Iocolano, addressing the topic of gender-based violence through satire, irony and original songs.

The show turns the spotlight on a widespread collective tendency: the habit of looking the other way rather than openly acknowledging a problem. Gender-based violence can take psychological, physical and economic forms, and can occur in many contexts — at work, in the family, in social life.

Gianluca Iocolano uses satire to tear away the veil of indifference. The piece invites audiences to break the silence and sharpen their gaze, so that violence can be recognised early — even where it hides in the subtle nuances of language. Not aiming for grand revolution, but for the small steps that make change possible. The show is bilingual and combines storytelling, sketches and original singer-songwriter pieces.
