To close the Bolzano Festival Bozen symposium, pianists Yifan Wu, Nikolas Meeuwsen and Josu de Solaun join Martin Cullingford, chief editor of Gramophone, and journalist Serena Bortone to look back on the discussions and ideas that emerged the previous day.
The session centres on the guiding questions of the symposium: how are artistic identity and individuality evolving in a constantly changing music world? What role does the artist's personality play today, and what prospects are opening up for the future of musical interpretation? The Closing Remarks offer space for personal reflection, an exchange of different perspectives, and a shared conclusion.
