A sporting challenge set against an impressive backdrop: the “Laaser Marmor Trophy” is one of the most unique mountain races in the Vinschgau Valley. The course leads runners over 7.5 kilometers and around 700 meters of elevation gain from Laas into the world of the famous Laas marble. Following the historic marble railway, as well as mountain trails and paths, participants reach the finish line at the marble quarry above the village.
The regional mountain race offers two categories: a FIDAL competition for racing classes and Runcard holders, and a non-competitive hobby and hiking run that does not require a sports medical certificate. The race starts at 4:00 PM in Via dell’Industria in Laas. The event is organized by ASC Laas Raiffeisen.
