Guided hike with insights into Ladin culture and legends. Over the Kreuzjoch to the Ladin mountaineering village of Kampill.

Over the Kreuzjoch to the Ladin mountaineering village of Kampill

Start: 9.30 am from car park Zans. Ascent via Tschantschenon to the Kreuzjoch (2293 m) and onward to the Utia Ciampcios (short rest). The descent leads to the mountaineering village of Kampill, with its traditional “viles” (hamlets) and mills. In the late afternoon, return to Villnöss valley via the Würzjoch by bus. End around 5.00 pm. Arrival by bus is recommended!
Route data: distance 10.5 km, ascent 670 m, descent 800 m, pure walking time 3.50 h

Please wear suitable mountain equipment.

Participants: min. 2 persons
Reservation: within the day before at the Nature Park Visitor Center Puez-Geisler or the Tourist Information Office.

    Car Park Zans (UNESCO Info Point)
    Getting to the starting point of the tour is easy and convenient.
    By bus from Klausen/Chiusa or Brixen/Bressanone through Villnöss/Funes valley to Zans (bus stop Zanserhütte). Online timetable search at www.suedtirolmobil.info/en/

    By car:
    Through the Eisacktal/Valle Isarco to Klausen/Chiusa turn into Villnöss/Funes valley and drive to Zans. There is a paid car park available (car park Zans).

    Please wear suitable mountain equipment and bring your packed lunch.
