Cantina Kurtatsch

The meeting point for the Wine Expedition is located in the wine shop of the Cantina Kurtatsch.

Arrival by public transport: Bus stop Breitbach (Kurtatsch) directly in front of the wine shop, bus station Kurtatsch about a 15-minute walk away.
Arrival by car: If you are arriving by car, we kindly ask you not to park in front of our wine shop. About 50 m from the wine shop, there is a parking lot in front of our offices (see image).

Please bring hiking or trekking shoes, as we will be spending the whole day on trails and in the vineyards. Depending on the weather, we also ask you to bring sun protection (sunscreen, sunglasses, sun hat) or rain protection (umbrella, rain jacket). Regular breaks will be taken, with water provided, but you are also welcome to bring your own water bottle.

The wine expedition takes place with a minimum of 7 participants.
You will receive a second confirmation or an alternative proposal from us 4 days before the selected date.
Your booking is only valid once you have received the second confirmation email.
After receipt of the second email, cancellations are only possible with the retention of 100% of the total amount paid.
In case of cancellation on our part (bad weather, insufficient number of participants), the full amount will be refunded to you.

Schedule
Meeting point at 8:30 am at the Cantina Kurtatsch – bus transfer to Graun – hike through the white wine vineyards, with a stop in Penon for a traditional South Tyrolean Brettljause (Charcuterie board), then back to Kurtatsch – 3-course lunch with wine pairing – hike through the red wine vineyards returning to the winery at around 5:00 pm.

Price
€120.00 per person. Included: bus transfer, 12 wine tastings, traditional South Tyrolean Brettljause, 3-course menu with wine pairing and water at one of the Kurtatsch restaurants, plus professional guidance for the entire day.

Hike details
Net walking time: 3.5 hours, 12 km, 700 m descent, 150 m ascent.
An easy hike along gravel and hiking trails, with a small stream crossing. Surefootedness, stamina, and suitable hiking shoes are required.
