Joint exhibition "Mensch sein" at the Klausen Town Museum

The group exhibition “Mensch sein” brings together works by the three contemporary artists Ottavia Demetz, Annamaria Grisi, and Anna Maria Mayr. The exhibition explores the many meanings of being human, a theme interpreted by each artist in a highly individual way and transformed into a compelling visual dialogue. It will be on view from 28 March to 2 May 2026 at the Civic Museum of Chiusa.

The featured works range from figurative drawings and poetic assemblages to abstract works on glass. Ottavia Demetz approaches the theme through intense, process-oriented drawing, Annamaria Grisi combines painting and textile materials to create powerful visual worlds, and Anna Maria Mayr opens an emotional space of resonance through her vividly coloured reverse-glass works.
