The family seat of the Counts of Meran in Tyrol is still owned and occupied by the same family today. Historically entwined in the history and fortunes of South Tyrol, Schenna Castle is one of the finest of its many forts and castles.

    Schenna Castle
    Meeting point is the Schenna Castle.

    Arrival by public transport: Bus line 231 from Meran – get off at Schenna Schule stop (about 50 m away).
    You can find the schedules at www.suedtirolmobil.info or on the Schenna App!

    Public parking, some paid, is available above the school or in the village center (from here the walk up is a bit steeper); all are easily reachable on foot.
