Village Cycling Tour – Special Places in Terlan, Vilpian, Gargazon and Nals

Together with Othmar Thuile, we cycle on our own bicycles from Terlan to Vilpian, Gargazon, and Nals, discovering remarkable places and hidden gems along the way.

Terlan – Visit the Parish Church of Terlan, renowned for its remarkable frescoes and the fascinating stories surrounding the "Leaning Tower of Terlan."

Vilpian – A short walk to the impressive 82-metre-high waterfall, a protected natural monument.

Gargazon – We stop at the Apple Trail, where you'll learn interesting facts about traditional apple varieties and unique local fruit.

Coffee break at Runschtner Hof – A charming place to relax and unwind. Enjoy coffee and homemade specialties (not included in the tour price).

Nals – At the newly restored barn of Pirkenstein Farm, we visit the permanent exhibition "Viticulture and Wine Culture in Contemporary History." Hansjörg Erschbamer weaves together the history of the Nals Margreid Winery, the development of viticulture, and the events of contemporary history.

Terlan – The tour concludes at the Terlan Wine House with a glass of white wine and a selection of local snacks (included in the tour price).

Distance: 25 km + 200 m elevation gain
