An event by the South Tyrol Museum of Nature
"Queer Animals" is an evening blending drag-show and musical storytelling theater. The versatile music talents Daniel Hellmann and Coco Schwarz perform in their artistic personas, Soya the Cow and Piano Prince, and explore the diversity of sexualities, forms of love, and ways of life in the animal kingdom.
Drawing from their personal perspective as queer human animals, they weave stories about real queer animals as well as animals from myths and fairy tales, with the theme of transformation running as a red thread throughout the evening – both musically and conceptually.
Join us for a dazzling and fascinating show where hybrid human-animal mythological creatures coexist with gay sheep, lesbian albatrosses, intersex snails, and transgender clownfish.
