Alpine Pastures & Legends: Hiking to the Devil’s Stone

Terenten/Terento, Brixen/Bressanone and environs

A special experience for the whole family awaits on this hike.

The trail leads to Pertinger Alm, where you can stop for refreshments, before continuing to the impressive panoramic viewpoint “Hühnerspiel”, offering breathtaking views. On the way back, another highlight awaits: the legendary Devil’s Stone, surrounded by fascinating local tales and myths.

A hike that perfectly combines nature, activity and shared experiences – ideal for an unforgettable family day.

And of course, there is plenty to enjoy for food lovers too: at Pertinger Alm you can savour regional delicacies while the children play and explore the surrounding nature.

Walking time: 3.5–4 hours | approx. 400 m elevation gain
