Franz Weger & Das Untypische Orchester: A Musical Journey Around the World A versatile concert experience full of energy and poetry: Franz Weger and his band take the audience on a fascinating sound journey from blues to swing and jazz. The repertoire ranges from 1930s Yiddish songs and captivating Electro Tango to Italian singer-songwriters and French chansons, as well as original compositions in German and South Tyrolean dialect. A special highlight includes delicate musical settings of Christian Morgenstern's poems from his famous "Galgenlieder" collection. Thanks to the diverse musical roots of the ensemble members, a unique and multifaceted sound is created. An evening full of rhythm, emotion, and joy of playing that will linger long in the memory.
