On the Path of the Stars from Steinegg|Collepietra to Gummer|S.Valentino in Campo
At 9.30 am, we set off together from the car park in front of Café Christl in Steinegg|Collepietra – the start of a guided hike along a very special themed trail: the “Path of the Stars”.
This runs between the two Star Villages of Steinegg|Collepietra and Gummer|S.Valentino – and we’ll be walking it in the opposite direction. Accompanied by our friendly mascot Luxi, we’ll discover interactive stations along the way that offer fascinating insights into the universe. Time and again, we’ll be treated to stunning views of the surrounding Dolomites. The trail takes us across meadows, through sparse woodland and gentle rolling hills, with plenty of interesting facts for young and old alike.
In Obergummer|S.Valentino di Sopra, a cosy stop awaits us at the Unteregger inn, right next to the Max Valier Observatory. After refuelling with South Tyrolean delicacies, we continue on our way – to the village centre of Gummer|S.Valentino, where public transport takes us back to Steinegg|Collepietra.
Don’t forget your Guestpass or SüdtirolPass for the public bus journey!
Walking time 4 hours – Ascent 530 m – Descent 210 m – Route length 12 km
