A cemetery, lots of sky, and plenty of loose screws.
Judith Bach, the Berlin-born artist now living in Switzerland, is well known to many as part of the duo “Luna-tic.” “Claire alleene” is the stage persona she created for her solo career.
“FINALLY – a piece for eternity” is the title of her second solo program. A heartwarming chanson cabaret with depth, in which the Berliner sings, philosophizes, and joyfully loses herself at the piano – surprising, tender, and cheeky.
Much has changed since she can only visit her wise grandmother Fritz at the cemetery. Claire – now a motorcycle rider – discovers that in a place where memories and gravestone inscriptions slowly fade, stories can become more alive than anywhere else. Even her own.
