Hike from Lake Antorno to Monte Piana & Piano. Historic trail with trenches and stunning views of the Three Peaks. Rest at Bosi Hut. Return by coach.
Mountain Hike to Monte Piana and Monte Piano (2,324 m) - One of the most beautiful panoramic mountains in the Eastern Dolomites.
We travel by coach through the Puster Valley to Toblach, then head south. In Schluderbach, we follow the road toward Lake Misurina and start our hike at the scenic Lake Antorno. From the northern shore, we hike uphill through the forest toward Monte Piana, reaching an old military road that winds up to the welcoming A. Bosi Hut.
The view of the world-famous Three Peaks (Tre Cime) and the Cadini Group is breathtaking. Our hike continues across the high plateau along a historical circular trail, passing trenches and fortifications to the summit of Monte Piano. The views of the surrounding Dolomite peaks, including Sorapiss, Hohe Gaisl, and Monte Cristallo, are unforgettable. After an extensive rest at the Bosi Hut, we descend back to the starting point to meet our bus.
Sturdy hiking boots, sun and rain protection: clothing suitable for the season and destination, drinks.
