When summer slowly draws to a close, the farmers bring their livestock down from the mountain pastures. The reception in the valley is a celebration for everyone!
On Saturday, 26 September, the traditional cattle drive in Ridnaun invites you to experience local traditions, admire the beautifully decorated animals and enjoy a festive day out for the whole family.
The festival starts at 10:00 a.m. The cattle are expected to arrive in Maiern at around 11:30 a.m., before making their way through the village in a traditional procession. Browse the farmers' market with its regional products and enjoy food, drinks and live music throughout the day.
