On Quiet Paths – Hike along the Neuwaal into the Schlandraun Valley

Schlanders/Silandro, Vinschgau/Val Venosta

Join us for a varied guided hike along the historic Neuwaal irrigation channel trail into the beautiful Schlandraun Valley.

The historic trail leads through impressive natural scenery with beautiful panoramic views and peaceful forest sections. In the heart of the valley we will take a relaxing break at the Schlanderser Alm mountain hut, where you will enjoy a small tasting of regional specialties.

After the break we will hike back together to the starting point.

Important: Parts of the trail are exposed and require sure-footedness and a head for heights.

Total distance: ca. 9 km
Elevation gain: aprrox. 280 m

The meeting point is the parking area at the sports and leisure centre in Silandro/Schlanders. From there, carpooling can be arranged to continue to the Aussereggen parking area, where the hike begins.

    Please wear sturdy footwear, weather-appropriate clothing, and bring something to drink.
    A cancellation is possible free of charge up to 24 hours before the event. After that, the amount will no longer be refunded.
    Guided hike with hiking guide Simone to the Schlanderser Alm, including a small tasting of regional products. Drinks are not included in the price.
