SPECIAL EXHIBITION 2026–2028: FABRIC

The MIK's extensive collection includes objects and themes that remain as relevant today as ever. Special exhibitions explore these subjects through selected examples, placing them within their historical context and establishing a connection to the present day. From 2026 to 2028, the spotlight will be on FABRIC and textile art.

In 2026, the exhibition will focus on textiles in a religious context.

- Exhibition Dates: Open until September 19, 2026
- Opening Hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Guided Tours: Thursdays and Saturdays, 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM (in German and in Italian language)
- Admission (Museum & Special Exhibition): €5
- Guided Tours: Free of charge
