Traditional transhumance with entertainment and folk music.
Back home, this is the ideal reference for livestock, including cows, horses, sheep and goats after a summer spent on the Alpe di Siusi returning to their stables.

The transhumance accompanied by a celebration takes place on the Saturday just before the feast of the harvest. This year the event takes place on 3rd October 2026. Accompanied by bells and wreaths the animals inhabit the area of Compaccio at 10am. The colourful herd consisting of 250 animals, some carts and some classic-style tractors will leave the Alpe di Siusi at this very time.
