Attention sommeliers and wine lovers: on Saturday, May 16, 2026, you are warmly invited to enjoy South Tyrolean wines in Algund.
Innovative winemakers and small winegrowers from all over South Tyrol will showcase their fine wines from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Church Square in Algund. The tasting list includes white and red wines, rosé, sparkling wines, and sweet wines, all crafted using special methods.
A perfect tasting also includes snacks and music, so entertainment is guaranteed! Traditional South Tyrolean specialties at the gastro stand round off this indulgent event harmoniously.
Algund Wine Currency
On May 16, we’ll be popping corks! But how does it work? Simple: at the Wine Tasting in Algund, payment is not in euros but in corks.
No currency converter needed: 1 € = 1 cork
The corresponding wine corks can be exchanged directly at the Algund Tourist Office next to the event.
