Rosengarten Hike: Via Pearl Trail to Messnerjoch (1,930m). Views of Vajolet Towers & Latemar. 4h walk.
Hike beneath the Rosengarten - Messnerjoch Alpine Hut (1,930 m)
Our journey begins with a scenic coach ride through the Eggental valley, passing the idyllic Lake Carezza on our way to the Carezza Pass (1,745 m). From the pass, we head straight onto the "Perlenweg" trail, following its gentle ups and downs toward the Jolanda mountain inn. The path continues through sparse larch forests and wide alpine pastures as we climb toward Kuregg, eventually reaching the Messnerjoch Alpine Hut (1,930 m) for a well-earned break. The ascent offers breathtaking views of the mighty Rosengarten massif, the iconic rock needles of the Vajolet Towers, and the impressive Latemar peaks across the valley. After a relaxing stop, we hike down to the Frommeralm and rejoin the Perlenweg trail, which leads us to the Niger Pass, where our bus will be waiting.
Sturdy hiking boots, weather protection, drinks, and snacks for the trail.
