For over four decades now, this exceptional ensemble has been thrilling audiences with a unique blend of virtuoso skill, rousing musicality and a humorous stage presence. PRO BRASS brings together some of the finest brass players from Austria and beyond, including members of leading international orchestras such as the Berlin Philharmonic, the Vienna Philharmonic, Vienna Symphony Orchestra, the WDR Symphony Orchestra, the NDR Radio Philharmonic, the RSO Vienna, the Vienna Volksoper and the Bruckner Orchestra Linz, as well as university professors from the Berlin University of the Arts, the Munich University of Music and Performing Arts, the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz and the Gustav Mahler Private University in Klagenfurt.
But what makes PRO BRASS so special? The ensemble combines masterful brass artistry with original compositions, creative arrangements and a fascinating variety of styles.
