For decades, Roberto Castello has been one of the leading figures of contemporary dance in Italy. With Mbira, he continues his exploration of social issues and civic struggles, deliberately drawing attention to what is going wrong.
Mbira is a concert for two female dancers, two musicians and a director which, through music, dance and spoken word, examines the complex relationship between our culture and African culture.
