oto-Forum Bolzano offers a week of summer workshops exploring the world of image-making, photography and visual storytelling, open to children and young people aged 7 to 13. Led by Claudia Corrent, the workshop takes place in Italian, German and English. Participants will explore light, shapes and materials through creative and experimental activities, inspired by artists and guided by imagination. Alongside the workshops, there will be time for play, visual walks and small explorations to train the eye. The final day closes with a small photography exhibition.

Programme:
Monday – Building a City of Light
Using cyanotype, participants create a fantastic city of houses, towers and blue shapes printed by sunlight.
Tuesday – Small Xerographic Posters
Experimenting with the photocopier: objects, transparencies and compositions to produce surprising images.
Wednesday – Photo-Sculpture
Photographs are turned into objects and small sculptures by folding and combining materials.
Thursday – Lights, Camera, Action!
A short collective film is made using photos and videos, playing with light, movement and composition.
Friday – Messing with Photos!
Images are reworked with colours and marks, transforming them into unique pieces.
