Schenna E-Bike Weeks for athletes | Schennaberg

Experience a unique E-MTB tour over the Schennaberg: this route combines physical challenge with culinary highlights. The tour starts at the Schenna Tourist Office, where your bike guide welcomes you and you start the day together.

The route takes you along the Pichlerstraße up to the Taser Alm, where Sepp shares insights into traditional grain cultivation and offers a tasting of his homemade bread – pure alpine culinary culture! On the terrace of the mountain hut, you can also enjoy regional specialties from Sepp’s own livestock, accompanied by an aperitivo – a perfect pleasure that combines grain and meat in one tasting experience.
Afterwards, you ride downhill to Gasthof Schnugger, where a delicious lunch awaits: choose between asparagus or dandelion dumplings, served with fresh salad and a beverage. Then the tour continues to the Bachlerhof, famous for its Schenna Krapfen, which you can taste on site.
The tour concludes at the Staferhof. In the cellar rooms of the farm, normally not open to the public, participants receive an exclusive insight into wine production and enjoy a tasting of selected house wines – a very special experience to end this sporty and gourmet tour.

This E-MTB tour is ideal for sporty guests who want to combine activity and local culinary experiences, with wonderful views over the Merano region and authentic South Tyrolean flavors.

Difficulty: medium (suitable for sporty E-MTB riders) – technically easy (asphalt road)

Minimum age: 16 years.
Requirements: confident cycling skills and good balance, even at slow speeds. There are some steep descents on the route.

If you don’t have your own E-MTB, you can book one at a special price through the Tourist Office. Bikes are provided by E-Bike Schenna – Schennaer Str. 31 (including helmet, lock, and charger). Bikes must be picked up at the rental location before the tour.
