St. Johann Church in Taufers im Münstertal

The Church of St Johann in Taufers was built around 1220. The Romanesque church building has the shape of a Greek cross. The fully painted groined vault shows Byzantine influences, and the frescoes from the late Romanesque period are also worth seeing.

Opening hours: daily from 9:30 - 17:00

Exhibition with guided tour, every Wednesday at 4.00 pm: Life on the road (in German language)
Archaeological finds from the Bronze Age to the Middle Ages from Taufers, Puntweil and Rotund are on display.

Guided tour price: € 5.00 per person
Lake Resia Guest Pass holders have admission to the guided exhibition included. The valid Lake Resia Guest Pass must be shown in order to use this service as an inclusive service.
