Discover the Baroque cloister garden at Novacella Monastery. A place of tranquility, shaped over centuries.
The cloister garden at Novacella Monastery is one of the most significant historical gardens in South Tyrol. After its faithful restoration in 2004, it is divided into three areas: a tree garden with a pavilion, a herb garden with around 75 medicinal and aromatic plants, and a Baroque ornamental garden with fountains, a bird chapel, and a historic fish pond.
To this day, the canons find rest between ancient ginkgo trees and a giant sequoia – and you, too, can experience monastic peace here amidst nature and enjoy a moment of reflection.
The Baroque cloister garden can be visited independently from May to September, Thursday to Saturday, during museum opening hours.
