Il Borgo dei desideri – an evening of art, culture, and community

A central element of this evening is the “wish note” on the theme:
“If the stars could hear you tonight, what would you ask for?”

Write your wish on the prepared note and bring it on Sunday between 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. to the village fountain, where all wishes will be collected. Will your wish come true?
The Municipality of Castelrotto will collect all submitted wishes and appoint a jury to choose the winning wish.
The initiative “I Borghi più belli d’Italia” will then gather the winning wishes from all participating villages and, through a committee, select the three best ones.
The authors of these three winning wishes will receive a Smartbox for a weekend for two in one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.

Evening Programme

5:00 p.m.
Opening of the event with welcome speeches by the Mayor and the President of the Tourist Association.

5:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Wine tasting with the winemakers:
Prackfoler Farm, Fiè allo Sciliar (Völs am Schlern)
Besserer Farm, Fiè allo Sciliar (Völs am Schlern)
Live music with A'kzent on the village square
Children's entertainment
Office hour with the Mayor and Councillor Adolf Hofer – an opportunity to share wishes, concerns and suggestions.

Performance by the Plattlergitschen folk dance group

Guided village tour through the historic centre of Kastelruth. Registration required. Free of charge.

Traditional Costume Museum open with guided tours. No registration required. Free of charge. (Only German and Italian)
