Figures of women in transition.
"A Women’s Light" brings together works from around 1900 to the present day and examines how images of women have evolved over time: from muse to model, from projection to self-assertion.
Paintings, photographs, drawings, sculptures and texts illustrate how women have been depicted – and how female artists are increasingly questioning, shifting and redefining these images.
An exhibition about gazes, role models and shifts in perspective.
