Snowshoe hike on the Siergarten with view of the Three Peaks

By minibus (the first 8 registered persons can travel in the minibus of the Alpine School, all other persons take the public bus) from San Candido to Signaue where we take the cable car Three Peaks to Stiergarten. Cost of the cable car ride is 25.00 Euro per person. Hike with views of the Three Peaks via Malga Klammbach to Rifugio Alpe di Nemes, where we have a rest stop. Descent to Passo Monte Croce and from there return to San Candido by minibus, private car, or public bus. Don’t forget your Südtirol Guest Pass! Starting point: 08.40 am Tourist Information San Candido (bus from Monte Baranci at 9.03 am) Return: approx. 4:00 pm Walking time: 4-5 hrs Difficulty: demanding Altitude differential: ascent approx. 150 m / descent approx. 300 m Kit: technical, ankle-covering mountain boots with profiled soles (winter boots or low shoes are not suitable for deep snow), hot drink (thermos flask), thermal protection, gloves and spare hat, sun protection Note: Anyone suffering from heart disease and/or taking medication is not permitted to participate in this tour (rapid difference in altitude)! fee 28 € per person, 5 € snow shoe rental IMPORTANT: The hikes will take place in all events, even where there is a lack of snow. In the event of a grave risk of avalanche or other adverse conditions, programme changes may occur. There is no minimum number of participants. The minimum age for children is 10 years with a shoe size of at least 35 (there are no snowshoes for smaller sizes). Dogs are not permitted at ANY tour. The first 8 registered persons can travel in the minibus of the Alpine School; all other persons follow the minibus by public bus.
