Circular hike in South Tyrol: through forests, larch groves & alpine meadows to Jochgrimm, with stunning views of Weißhorn and Schwarzhorn.

Bus ride through the Adige Valley to Neumarkt, then up to Montan and Oberradein. The hike starts from the mountain hamlet of Oberradein (1,570 m) and leads through forests, larch groves and alpine meadows, passing the Kalditscherwirt to Jochgrimm (1,989 m), the mountain pass between Weißhorn and Schwarzhorn. Lunch break at the Gurndin Alm just below the pass. After lunch, a short ascent takes us to the highest point of the hike, followed by a gentle descent to the Auerleger Alm and then, through woods and alpine pastures, on to Lavazè Pass (1,808 m), where the bus awaits.
Sturdy hiking boots, sun and rain protection, clothing suitable for the season and the hike, drinks and some snacks.
