Print and dirt: What is literature allowed to do? Denis Scheck is a literary agent, translator, publisher and one of Germany's best-known literary critics. For many years he presented the book market programmes Kunscht! and lesenswert on SWR. He is particularly well known for the ARD magazine programme Druckfrisch. He has received numerous awards for his work, including the Critics‘ Prize of the German English Language and Literature Conference and the VdÜ Translators’ Barque. From 2014 to 2016, he was a member of the jury for the Bavarian Book Prize. Each year, he presents 100 important works of world literature in Scheck's canon.
