Hotel description
The holiday flat "Haus am Hang" is situated 8 km south of Bolzano, the capital of South-Tyrol at the bottom of the Breitenberg mountain, in a calm and sunny landscape, surrounded by a fruit-plantation.

About the region

Enjoy both impressive views of nearby Dolomite peaks as well as a Mediterranean atmosphere. The fertile wine region of Bolzano and Environs extends from Sarntal valley via the state capital Bolzano, to Salorno/Salurn. Located at between 200 and 3,000 m above sea level, possibilities for an active holiday abound throughout the year. Holidays in Bolzano and Environs are a feast for the senses.

In the expansive southern valley, visitors can marvel at vineyards and castles, as well as apple orchards and idyllic villages. Further north, near the state capital, admire traditional mountain farms and craggy Alpine peaks. Outstanding local wines and the mouth-watering flavours and aromas of local specialities, such as asparagus and chestnuts, whet the appetite. Both peace and a flair for the dramatic are on hand in Bolzano and Environs. South Tyrol/Südtirol’s capital is a vibrant city bustling with activity, whilst nearby isolated mountain villages and quiet tributary valleys offer respite. The characteristic sounds of the mingling of Italian and German fill the streets, whilst music, theater and festivals are a feast for the eyes and ears. You’ll be sure to return home with unforgettable memories like swimming in the warm Kalterer See lake, the crisp crunch of snow under your skis, or the silence of relaxing with friends over a glass of wine and enjoying the best food South Tyrol has to offer.
