Description

The sun rises over the mountain peaks, and I greet it with a sunrise yoga session in the garden. Good morning, daisies. Good morning, olive tree. Good morning, blue sky. I have never felt so relaxed. Although my muscles still ache a little from yesterday’s hike, the excursion was sunny and wonderful. Today’s plan is different: lounging in the wellness area and enjoying a massage at the new “the lazy whale SPA.” In the sauna, a song from yesterday at the bar echoes in my mind, while the bartender pampered us with a variety of summer cocktails. Then, into the 25-meter infinity pool – a feeling of absolute weightlessness. I absolutely need to set aside a day just to sit in the garden and finish my book. I can already feel it: I will come back soon to this little paradise to relax and enjoy the mountains.

About the region

Meran and environs region is full of surprising contrasts. In spring, you can ski in the morning on the Schnalstal glacier and cycle through apple orchards in the afternoon. While the peaks are still white, you can sit in the sun among palm trees and arcades along the Passer river. The mild climate, protected by the Texel group, fosters diverse and lush nature. The gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle showcase the elegance of yesteryear, alongside the thermal baths and Belle Époque buildings. The valleys around Meran are full of paths, waterfalls and traditions, just waiting to be discovered. And if you love horses, a ride on a Haflinger is the way to go.

The Feel good Resort Johannis has 15 rooms for guests with special needs. Unfortunately, the bathrooms are relatively cramped, do not have facilities suitable for the disabled and have inadequate and inconveniently arranged sanitary facilities. Help is therefore needed when using the bathroom. The breakfast room, bar and terrace are located on the first floor. Swimming pool, solarium and sauna are accessible by elevator (140 x 110 cm). The outdoor pool and sunbathing lawn can be reached via an access path with a gradient of 30%. Parking lot in front of the hotel entrance.
