Hotel description
The headstone for the Flachenhof was laid by us on inherited land in 1988. Our farm is a real habitat for humans and animals, which we are happy to share with our guests. The work on the farm is varied, from the supply of wildlife to forest work, to gardening, to the produce of our own products and last but not least to the work with human and horse. The total of 8 horses and ponies is kept in an open stable. - 3 large, bright holiday apartments with lots of wood and a fantastic view. - Optimal hiking and mountain bike opportunities in summer and winter. - Riding lessons for beginners and advanced riders, trial lesson for kids, Team Pony Concept, certified riding instructor all year round on the farm, therapeutic riding, yoga and riding with a certified yoga teacher. - Guided tours on the farm for groups and school classes with an original South Tyrolean bread oven and sheep shearing. - Children's playground, trampoline, bouldering wall, assistance on the farm possible, small animals to stroke. . .

About the region

Enjoy both impressive views of nearby Dolomite peaks as well as a Mediterranean atmosphere. The fertile wine region of Bolzano and Environs extends from Sarntal valley via the state capital Bolzano, to Salorno/Salurn. Located at between 200 and 3,000 m above sea level, possibilities for an active holiday abound throughout the year. Holidays in Bolzano and Environs are a feast for the senses.

In the expansive southern valley, visitors can marvel at vineyards and castles, as well as apple orchards and idyllic villages. Further north, near the state capital, admire traditional mountain farms and craggy Alpine peaks. Outstanding local wines and the mouth-watering flavours and aromas of local specialities, such as asparagus and chestnuts, whet the appetite. Both peace and a flair for the dramatic are on hand in Bolzano and Environs. South Tyrol/Südtirol’s capital is a vibrant city bustling with activity, whilst nearby isolated mountain villages and quiet tributary valleys offer respite. The characteristic sounds of the mingling of Italian and German fill the streets, whilst music, theater and festivals are a feast for the eyes and ears. You’ll be sure to return home with unforgettable memories like swimming in the warm Kalterer See lake, the crisp crunch of snow under your skis, or the silence of relaxing with friends over a glass of wine and enjoying the best food South Tyrol has to offer.
