In summer it is the starting point for many hikes, in winter the meeting point for many skiers with good mood and fun.

    The hut is located on the Trentino side right under the Sassolungo. We have 12 beds in comfort rooms with own bathroom and 30 more beds in typical tyrolean rooms with sharing bathrooms. The refuge has boot warmers, clothes dryer and e-bike refills with the possibility to put the bikes indoors, a modern ski-room and a private ski-lift that takes you directly to the Dolomiti Superski slopes 12 resorts and 1200km of slopes and the famous Sellaronda without cold morning queues. Our cuisine is typical with a touch of modernity, many dishes offered come from our organic farms in Highlander, the largest in Italy. Access: from Campitello di Fassa via the Col Rodella cable car, then descending for 10 minutes along the path that leads to Sasso Piatto or from Passo Sella taking the Friedrich August path in 30 minutes you arrive at the refuge.     During october open on friday, saturday and sunday. (coming from Vipiteno) Once in Vipiteno continue in the direction of Brennero along the state road (SS12). After about 4 km you reach Colle Isarco. Stay and continue along the state road (SS12) towards Brennero for about 3Km (4min). After 3km you come across a hairpin bend to the right and another to the left. When you reach the hairpin turn to the left, you will see the motorway exit on the right. Next to the exit, take a small paved road and follow it for about 800m. Once you reach the parking lot, continue on foot along the unpaved forest road. 5 sleeping places (on request).

    Bella Vista Mountain Refuge (2,845 meters) is located at the end of Senales Valley and is surrounded by the ice of the Hochjochferner Glacier. Back in 1869, a mountain refuge came into being here in order to allow for crossing back and forth between the Venter and Senales valleys, even in bad weather conditions. Paul Grüner, owner of the Golden Rose Hotel, acquired the mountain refuge in 1999. After an extensive renovation in 2006, the Bella Vista (lit: “Beautiful View”) offers not only the charm of an authentic Alpine lodge and a great deal of comfort, but also some truly special features such as an igloo and the highest-elevation outdoor sauna in Europe.
