    This listed farmhouse is situated north of Brixen, between Vahrn and Neustift, at the foot of a steeply sloping vineyard. It once belonged to the so-called Mairhöfen and provided income for the bishop. Today it is here to spoil you with a drop of its home-produced wine and tasty dishes.     The Gummererhof lies high above the Brixen valley basin, nestling amongst chestnut groves and vineyards. In autumn, when the days draw in and get cooler, a lot of 'törggelling' goes on in the farmhouse - that involves finishing off the day with tasty farm fare and a glass of the season's new wine. House ‘Sekt’ (sparkling wine), made from the native ‘Blatterle’ grape is a special feature of the Gummererhof farm. Open days: Open daily from mid September to mid December from 15.00.     Our farm is situated above Signat along the chestnut trail. Our traditional farmhouse cooking offers many local filled pasta varieties, known as "Schlutzkrapfen" and filled with spinach, pumpkin, ricotta or even beetroot and horseradish. We offer numerous different varieties of traditional dumplings, such as cheese, spinach, beetroot or pumpkin, and also rustic variations such as herbal or bacon dumplings.     Our restaurant is a typical South Tyrolean farmhouse inn surrounded by green meadows and a wonderful view, where good food and excellent wines are served. Our farm is located in a sunny hollow, on the right side of the stream of Siusi. Right now, you are located in the basement of the farmhouse, in the so-called Kampidell cellar. This cellar is protected as a cultural asset. Why? Because you are surrounded by walls dating back to the 13thcentury! Since 2020 we offer a wide variety of dishes prepared mainly with local ingredients. Whenever possible, our chef Michael uses products that come directly from our farm. Our farm always gives us new inspiration and is the source of our success. Here we cultivate the raw materials for our dishes and raise robust cattle that have plenty of exercise and spend the summer on the lush alpine meadows of the Alpe di Siusi. In 2014/15 the Prieth family, the current owners, established a farmhouse inn where local South Tyroleans and tourists alike are welcome to delight in the fruits of the harvest.
